UMAANI started with pain and turned into purpose.

After breaking both ankles in 2022, I found myself unable to walk, move freely, or do much of anything. In those quiet, isolating months, I spent most of my time online—browsing, discovering, and slowly falling in love with jewellery. Not just any jewellery, but pieces that felt like me: timeless, elegant, and effortless. That love gave me a sense of connection and confidence when everything else felt out of reach.

It started with collecting pieces I admired, then slowly sharing them at small local markets. For a long time, I hesitated to take it further. The idea of launching UMAANI online felt overwhelming too big, too soon. But deep down, I knew this brand held more than just jewellery. It held my story. My healing. My return to self.

Now feels like the right time.

UMAANI is finally online—a space for pieces that carry meaning, resilience, and quiet luxury. Every 18k gold-plated design is a reminder of strength in softness, of beauty in stillness.
